Fund Development

DEBLAR provides services based on the principle that any assignment begins with an understanding of the mission and vision of each client’s organizational and philanthropic environments. Regardless of organizational size or structure, the same quality of service is assured. Our primary goal is to promote our clients’ objectives and service delivery in a manner that motivates and involves every individual raising and donating funds.

We are noted for our innovative techniques in annual, major, and capital gifts fundraising, encouraging clients to stretch their goals, to ask for transformational gifts and to foster institutional leadership. This is the hallmark of the DEBLAR method.

DEBLAR is dedicated to helping organizations build strong fund development programs to meet immediate and long-term goals.

Fund Raising Plan Development

In order for an organization to know where it is going and how to get there, DEBLAR will create a Development Plan, which is a vital part of an overall Organizational and/or Strategic Plan.  DEBLAR helps organizations to develop both long-range development plans (generally three- to five-year plans) and annual plans that outline an organization’s program for the calendar or fiscal year.  DEBLAR integrates leadership from the organization’s staff and board in the development process to achieve maximum results.

Prospect Research & Grant Writing

Prospect research is the process of identifying, qualifying and involving prospective donors in the support of an organization.  DEBLAR provides quality, screened funding leads based on an organization’s profile to ensure a good match for its programs and services.

Preparing quality proposals is a specialty of DEBLAR.  We are adept at interpreting and ensuring compliance with grant guidelines, particularly those of public and private foundations.

Feasibility Study

DEBLAR conducts comprehensive feasibility studies as primary tools for completing the most important task of fundraising planning. Our design tests and identifies philanthropic interest in the desired goal within the primary community of support.  Special attention is directed to potential high dollar donors by interviewing those potential donors one on one.  Also, the feasibility study focuses on identifying volunteer donors who will take strong leadership in the campaign.
